Mr Huntley is exactly what you want in a home inspector; professional, extremely thorough, considerate and very easy to work with. I hired him to inspect a home built in 1950, and given that age it had seen numerous changes to the infrastructure and an addition, and he was competently versed in all areas and able to point out both the good and the not so good. What impressed me most was that he actually encourages, in writing, his clients to accompany him during the inspection (which I did) and he very patiently explained what he saw both in real time, and in summary at the end of the inspection. I was also pleased to get his full report the same day, electronically and with multiple full color photos complete with annotations and highlights. I highly recommend Mr. Huntley.

I put my trust in RW Huntley Home Inspections whenever I'm buying a home. When I had put an offer on a home and hired RW Huntley, Mr Huntley went over the home with a fine too the comb and was able to ascertain that the home had developed foundation problems. Upon questioning the owners, we found that the home had required helical piers and was in need of more to keep it from sinking. I would never have felt secure having my children sleep in that particular house after learning that information and would have ended up with a greater expense further down the road. His expertise in his field will always keep me coming back as a client. If you're serious about purchasing a home, you seriously need to hire RW Huntley as your home inspector.
