Coey Stairs and Railings

A designer that we were working with contracted Coey to re-do our stair railings and newel posts about six weeks ago. The wood that they used is such poor quality. The variation is so bad that it visually looks like it's cracking down the middle. And then within two weeks of finishing the job, our newel posts showed cracks on the top, which we've had to use filler on to fix. A separate company that we hired to finish the stairs commented on how terrible the railings looked. Steer clear of Coey.

He has also provided my clients with railing, either with metal pickets or modern glass railing. Glass railings we have installed included multiple styles such as standoff brackets, stainless steel posts and handrail, as well as, with wood posts and handrail with glass in-between. Would not hesitate in recommending Coey Stairs for any project no matter how large or small or how simple or complex the job may be.
