Elite Construction of Jax, Inc. is a Certified Building Contractor serving Saint John’s County, Jacksonville, and the surrounding areas. Our company is highly skilled to take on any residential job. Elite Construction of Jax, Inc. was founded by David Furukawa in 1993 to pursue his passion for building and creating. David graduated from Liberty University and received his M.B.A Degree summa cum laude. Quality workmanship and time-consuming details set us apart from other builders in the area. David has been in the construction field all his life. During that time, he has worked as a journey man painter, garage door installer, insulator, and a drywall finisher. In addition, he owned a roofing company and was a superintendent for one of the largest Custom Home Builders in the city. He acquired his builders license in 1991 and has built over 550 homes. Having experience in all these fields has given him an eye for detail. Elite Construction takes pride in our understanding of the builder and the job site superintendent because we have been in their shoes. If they need something that is holding up their job, we as the owners are there to take care of it. In 2012 David’s wife, Cathy Furukawa joined Elite Construction as the lead Interior Designer. Her eye for detail and passion for creating timeless, elegant, and functional spaces provides clients with personalized and exceptional insight from start to finish. Additionally, her acquired building knowledge provides seamless collaboration taking each client’s project through the entire process. The combined resources that David and Cathy offer through their extensive experience and credentials makes every home or remodeled space a work of art that reflects the client’s vision, dream, and personality.
