C & P Mason & Sons

I've used C&P Masons for two major projects on my home, and I'm hoping to hire them again soon for a third project. The first project involved replacing my front stoop and sidewalk. Pete came to the house, provided some ideas I hadn't thought of, and gave me an estimate that was reasonable and fair. Pete and PJ showed up to begin the project when they said they would, and the work was completed in less than a week. The job was phenomenal, and everyone who comes to the house comments on the beautiful stonework. I hired them again to replace decaying railroad ties along the side of my driveway with a stone wall, as well as replace a storm basin in the driveway that was crumbling. Again, the project was reasonably priced, and the completed job was incredible. I can't begin to describe how much their work transformed the look of the property. They are true craftsman at what they do, and they always have great ideas to add to the project. I'm now hoping to hire them again later this fall to build a base for a hot tub and create a fire pit along side of it. I've already recommended them to several other friends, and I can't say enough good things about the work that they do!

I had C&P mason do my concrete patio and another area for a fire pit and slate. At first the concrete patio was fine however the fire pit area was a mess. My son, DIL and myself had to redo the whole area around the firepit. It was horrible the slate was so close your knees burnet as you sat there. It was unlevel and some of the pieces were broken.. So we had to rent a huge machine, pull up everything and level with dirt and purchase 3 more pieces of slate to replace the broken ones. Then now in April less then a year later we found a crack in the patio and its also pitting. I reached out with pictures to C&P and heard back that they received my email. In June I sent another email and to this date have not heard back. Now I have to get another mason company to see if they can fix this. After less then one year I wouldn’t think a concrete patio should be showing cracks and pitting. Very disappointing. I did also hold back 300$ from the firepit work as the firepit it self is cracking. Be aware!!

We've had projects done by many different contractors but C&P Masons is by far the best we've worked with. Their pricing is very reasonable and the workmanship is outstanding. Family business that takes pride in their work and it shows. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any masonry project you're considering.

C & P Masons installed stone veneer around my entire house, patio, and fireplace. They did an absolutely exceptional job. The work was superb; they were neat and very meticulous in the placement of stone and quality of work, not to mention great customer service and such friendly faces throughout the job.
