We contracted with Fortune Stoneworks to repair our front steps with the addition of bluestone. Fortune provided excellent work, and was very professional. They met the schedule that was provided and their pricing was reasonable for the stone material we selected.

Fortune Stoneworks did an excellent repointing and power wash of our old stone patio making it look like new. The workers were very respectful of our gardens and they were quite efficient. Combine all that with a fair price, I have to say I would recommend them.

I hired Fortune Stoneworks to install a brick paver patio in my backyard and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The team doing the install did a great job carefully prepping the area (they were even nice enough to carefully remove grass as sod so I could replant it elsewhere in my yard). They were also able to replace my old crumbling stairs leading to the patio with new wider concrete stairs. The installation of the pavers went very smoothly and was done just in time for Memorial Day weekend. I would recommend Fortune Stoneworks for your next patio or concrete project.

Eddie and his team do excellent stonework. He is a hands-on business owner. He listened to what we wanted. He explained the project in detail and answered all of our questions. His price was very reasonable. He showed us his portfolio of work, as well as, the projects in our neighborhood. The crew showed up on time, was very professional, paid attention to detail, and did quality work. The design of the flagstone and end result was perfect! We would hire them again for other projects, and highly recommend Fortune Stoneworks.

We interviewed many contractors for our driveway expansion project, which was one of the first things we wanted to do when we moved into the house. I chose Eddie because he was honest, direct and his price was fair. His team showed up, did what they came to do and completed it in a timely manner. We now have a driveway that is both practical and beautiful. Very happy.

We used Fortune Stonework to install retaining walls on each side of our existing stairs and install an iron railing on the right hand side. It was a pleasure working with them. They were easy to contact and communicate with. They came when they said they would, did their work quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up after each visit. We are very pleased with the finished job and would definitely use them again for any other masonry work.

I tried 2 different contractors (including the original installer) to do a major re-sand of my flagstone pavers. Tepid interest followed by no response. I contacted Eddie through Houzz and got an immediate response. He promptly came over to look at the situation, told me what had gone wrong and what was needed (which he said he would guarantee would resolve the problem) and then followed up with an estimate. His guys were ready to do the work a day later and they did a great job-- I watched them work and it was fairly labor intensive to dig out all of the old sand by hand and then re-sand properly. Communication, responsiveness, knowledge, and quality of work are most important to me and I was willing to pay for it. My backyard patio looks beautiful and I don't expect any washout.
