MV Masonry

MV Masonry has done extensive work on our outdoor vineyard pavilion. The results are exceptional! The attention to detail, and quality, is exceptional. It was a pleasure working with Tony and his guys. The entire project exceeded our expectations.

My husband and I first learned of MV Masonry in 2014 when we embarked on a major excavation project in our back yard. Since we had no clear idea of how to go about some of what we were undertaking, Tony Viramontes, owner of MV Masonry, proved to be a gift beyond what we could have imagined. To begin, Tony is very personable, knowledgable, and service-oriented. With regards the stonework for a wall, gate columns, stairs, and gazebo foundation, he assessed our situation, heard our concerns, answered our questions, educated us as to what our options were, and made recommendations about what direction to take. With his guidance the final results were all that we could have hoped for aesthetically and structurally and included hardscape/landscape lighting. We found him trustworthy and his judgment impeccable. We also appreciated how amicably and professionally he worked alongside the contractors, paver, carpenters, electricians, and others who were involved in the project. Budgetarily, although not wealthy, Tony understood that what was most important to us was that the job be done correctly, the first time. His crew was always responsible and reliable in keeping the project moving forward. Moreover, they are true artisans at what they do. EVERY time we look at their work during daylight, or in the evening when the stone texture is accentuated by the lighting we are in awe of the workmanship as is everyone else. We wouldn’t even think of hiring anyone other than Tony for future work!

MV Masonry has done two jobs for me. The first job was a large rock wall with a fence behind it. The second job was a long fence/gates in the front of our yard. Both projects turned out perfectly. I did not have to wait months for them to do the jobs and they were very easy to deal with. I appreciated and used all of the good ideas Tony had for me. I will use them again in the future and do not hesitate to recommend them.

MV Masonry transformed both my back and front yard in Calistoga. Their work is first class. Tony Viramontes... owner of MV has real vision. If a problem ever arose... and they always do... he would come to me with at the very least 2 alternatives for a solution. This is unlike some contractors who come and say "there is a problem, what do you want to do about it?'" Tony and his crew were proactive, helpful, & on time. I am thrilled with the end result.
