"A Much Less Expensive Alternative To Marble" I am a professional venetian plaster applicator. My process essentially involves creating surfaces that imitate marble and stone by using marmorino plaster, which made of marble powder. Just imagine your fireplace or bathroom walls that look like a seamless marble slab, with all of the translucency and durability of real marble. A fireplace ledge or hearth can also be covered with marble tiles. I also do traditional texture venetian plastering for an old world finish, and my finishes repel moisture after they have been sealed and buffed.
