My husband and I recently had a custom log home built in Northport, Michigan and we wanted an open shelf kitchen design in order to be able to see our glassware and pottery that we use everyday. Our design for the kitchen needed to fit the cottage theme of the area but fulfill the design of the log home style. Thomas and Milliken were excellent to work with for their woodworking skills and their cabinet/shelf design. Since ours was a simple job we were concerned about getting it done on time, but we had nothing to worry about. Thomas and Milliken Millworks engineered the exact shelf work that fit our style and budget and installed it within our builders timeline as well. Thomas and Milliken was a wonderful company to work with for redoing the panelling, molding, doors, and floors in our home. They had great ideas for the different kinds of wood to use. They were pleasant to talk to, responsive, prompt, worked quickly and beautifully, cleaned up afterwards and the house looks amazing now. We have had so many compliments on our place. With help from Thomas and Milliken staff, we chose just the right design of Marvin Windows to suit our old cottage remodel while maximizing the views. Since it was a big investment, we wanted to get it right. They were able to customize our needs. The windows came quickly and were beautifully installed.
