About Us

A family-owned business since 1955, Accent on Interiors serves homeowners and businesses throughout Westchester and Fairfield Counties. Originally known as Kisco Shade and Blind, we have evolved into a full-service design and installation company. Design professionals at Accent on Interiors work with both homeowners and the trade to provide a wide scope of services that begins with initial consultations, in-home measurements, product fabrication and, finally, expert installation. We are service-oriented and encourage customers to visit our showroom to view sample treatments, and select fabrics and wallpapers from our extensive library. We bring your decorating dreams to life. Although Accent on Interiors’ specialty has always been window treatments, we work with all aspects of interior design project management, such as custom upholstery, custom bedding, headboards, wallcoverings, and so on. A fully authorized Hunter Douglas gallery dealer, Accent on Interiors represents their full line of window treatments. In addition, we design custom draperies, top treatments, roman shades, motorization, and much more. Visit our showroom, easily accessible from Fairfield and Westchester locales. For over 20 + years,we have hired Accent on Interiors several times to take care of our window decor needs in our houses as well as our apartments. Accent on Interiors has been a pleasure to work with. Dan and his experienced staff are extremely helpful and creative when it comes to window treatments, upholstery and so much more. No job is too small or big for Accent on Interiors to execute and fulfill the expectations of each and every customer. Their knowledge and expertise is evident when the finished treatment is hung professionally or when a finished upholstered item is delivered to complete any room. I have been a loyal customer for 13 years and unfortunately I have run out of windows to decorate but I’m looking forward to the day that I can hire Dan to decorate my next house!!!
