Elegant Windows by Design and it's Owner Mark Block are not to be Trusted. After immediately cashing my $1,750 deposit in April 2018, Mark has failed to perform the work contracted. I can't provide photos of his work because all he did was take my money. He doesn't respond to phone calls, texts, emails or letters. Mark Block is a pro but not for window treatment installation. Do not fall prey to this man and stay away from this UN-professional company.

Mark and Wendi are great !! Mark initially came to our house and measured all the windows and gave us an estimate on the spot, which his pricing was very good compared to other companies. We closed the deal a couple days after he we finalized the final cost to order and install shutters in our living room, dinning and office, he mentioned that it would take anywhere from 8-10 weeks for the shutters to arrive as they were special ordered. Finally they called us to inform us that they had arrived at about 9 weeks. Installation went perfect! The quality of there product was excellent and there work was super clean!! .....We are very happy with new shutters and shades and we would highly recommend this company. Fabian and Angie

Mark was absolutely incredible! From the moment he initially showed up for our estimate to the installation process, everything was superb! I was referred to Elegant Windows by Design by a friend, as Mark had sold her plantation shutters 3 years prior and she had a wonderful experience as well. The previous reviewer is angry, and it is valid, however, this was not Mark's fault. There were shady business practices which were done at the expense of Mark's business, and NOT by Mark. A business "partner" stole Mark's money and orders. Mark is taking action and no one will be disappointed moving forward. Mark's quality of work and product are the best! His prices are the best too!

Elegant windows by Design literally took our money. We paid them a deposit of $1,100 on a $2000 solar shade job back in August. They stated it would take several weeks to get the material made and in stock, but after a month I hadn't heard anything back from them. I then contact the owner Mark several times, but he didn't call back until 4 days later. He stated that the products for installation were being held by another company and that he couldn't get access to them. He then wanted to us to contact that company and record the call, which we didn't want to participate in. The check was written to Elegant Windows by Design and deposited into their account. Another few weeks went by as I continue to attempt to follow up with Mark, but he wouldn't return my calls. I finally found another number on their Facebook page, which was answered. The woman explained that that Elegant Windows by Design had no money to pay me back. I explained that I would take a payment plan ($100 a week until it was paid) and would require a phone call every week to communicate that the check was mailed. I received only one check in 4 weeks and never received a phone call. I didn't want to leave a bad review, but this company took my money and is not communicating with me as promised or paying me back as promised. I'm still out $1000 as of now. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Be careful giving anyone a deposit by check. Always use a credit card. That way companies like Elegant Windows by Design won't be able to rip you off too.
