Helen was excellent, we contacted her at the beginning of the holiday season with a rather unique and small project. She had no hesitation with driving out to us the day before thanksgiving with a boatload of ideas of how we can make our project work. She was very personable and friendly. We ran into a bit of a snag during the installation process and she did whatever she could to remedy the situation quickly and professionally. I highly recommend her.

Smith & Noble's in home design service makes all the difference when selecting window treatments. First, I was able to order as many fabric samples as I needed to help me decide what pattern I wanted. Once I had it narrowed down I scheduled an appointment with Helen. She was terrific in helping me make a final decision. She was very knowledgeable about the the fabrics and valence types and provided excellent guidance on what would look good on each window. She was also able to mock up on her iPad what it would look like on my windows which helped me confidently make a final decision. She also took the time to carefully measure my windows. When they arrived, she even came to the installation to ensure everything was done properly and helped make sure the placement was perfect. Helen was a pleasure to work with and she really took the time to make sure I made the best selections. I highly recommend her services and Smith & Noble's products.

Helen, was a pleasure to work with! When looking for a designer to help with a project be it large or small Helen will help you to get the right look for you and your home. We were looking for an option for a patio door and we couldn't have been happier with the outcome of our project. Helen is very easy to talk to and guided us to the best design for our budget. Helen was great in working with me on my roller shades. She was able to help with all facets of design which I really appreciated: 1) the aesthetics of the room and fabric choices that would work well, 2) the practicality of what I needed - mainly just blocking the afternoon sun, and 3) the tricky detailed decisions about where to hang them, how to measure them and how to hang them to work with my particular windows. Working with her, I left feeling much more confident than I would have making those decisions on my own. And we were able to do it all virtually! I wasn't looking for a "wow" factor - I wanted something subtle and practical. I love how they turned out and couldn't be more pleased every time I sit at my desk and click the DOWN button to keep the sun from cooking my office in the afternoon!
