I was wanting to update my front room from 80's style balloon valances; but unsure how to address my entire wall of windows. We came up with a style that ties in wonderfully with the new carpet, modernizes the room and enhances rather hides the view. We also installed window tint on the upper odd shaped windows. This afforded me to keep the light but control the heat & glare from the sun.
