Reseda Shade Company was founded by Marty Cohen and John Laurent whose vision was to exceed the needs of our customers, beginning with exceptional customer service in sales; the highest quality products available; installation and customer follow up!. Marty Cohen and John Laurent opened the door to the Reseda Venetian Blind Company on February 1953. The first order was sold on March 1, 1953 for (5) 2” Venetian Blinds for the total amount of $34.31 dollars. In 1959 the company name was changed to Reseda Shade Company. We have been providing our customers with the most innovative and diverse selection of custom window treatment, for more than 50 years, throughout Southern California. Our wide range of custom window covering and treatment include: window shades, blinds, shutters, drapery, and custom top treatment.
