About Us

Smashing Windows! is a Shop-At-Home business which specializes in the design, manufacture and installation of custom window treatments, decorative bedding and a variety of domestic soft goods. We are a Hunter Douglas Priority Showcase Dealer and have been in business since 1989.

Services Provided

In-home design consult for window treatments & custom fabrication.We carry a broad line of decorator fabrics, drapery hardware and decorative trims. We manufacture many styles of custom window treatments, ie Roman Shades, Cornices, Panels, Swags & Jabots. Some of our other product offerings are custom Duvet Covers, Pillows and Shams, Coverlets, Cushions, Tablecloths and runners. Authorized Hunter Douglas and Norman Shutters distributor.

I was attending a home show and Laura was there with a display of Hunter Douglas products. Right from the start it was clear that Laura knew her products and willing to work with you in your price range. Laura came to our home and spent close to two hours giving me multiple options in all different price ranges. I was left with books and an invitation to her home to see several of the products in her home. Laura is easy to work with, knowledgeable, efficient, and prompt with delivery and installation. You can't go wrong if you use Laura!!!!

I meet Laura while installing closets in a multi-million dollar home in Shrewsbury, Ma. I was immediately impressed by her professional manner and her expert knowledge of window treatments. Laura enthusiastically brought me up to date on the latest styles and the convenience technology available in Hunter Douglas products.

Commented: Hobbled roman shade v. flat styleLutine, I believe that hobbled shades will be more energy efficient than a flat Roman just by virtue of the extra folds which can trap cold or hot air. Of course there are many other variables here st...
