I chose the Louver Shop of Lake Charles because the owner was more professional, more service-oriented & had better pricing than any of the metro Houston companies I consulted. Several of the local firms here tried high-pressure, buy-now-or-miss-a-bargain tactics; others just couldn't (or wouldn't) provide a straightforward quote, much less work with me to make changes. Bart is incredibly professional and also the sort of nice, honest person you can feel good about doing business with. He made two trips to the house so we could go through all the options and ensure the measurements were right, and he always responded quickly to calls or emails. I asked him about different possibilities more than a few times, and he never made me feel like a bother and was quick to get me the information I needed. The house also had several construction delays, and he was patient throughout all of them. If you want excellent service for great shutters at an equally great price, then he is the person to call.

We replaced all of our window treatments in our home with window shutters from Louver shop Of Lake Charles, Bart Stagg. We are so very pleased with the huge improvement of our home’s interior appeal!!! It is unbelievable. Bart came to our home, discussed various styles, color and measured; and we signed our contract. About three weeks later, we received an email indicating our shutters were in and ready for installation. Bart’s team made an installation appointment and the work was completed within a ½ day on 6 regular size windows and 3 very large picture windows. Additionally, Bart gave ideas on how to increase the aesthetics on our picture windows by adding decorative cornices, adding more beauty to the interior of our home. I decided to update the window treatments in my home by replacing the blinds with plantation shutters. Bart Stagg of the Louver Shop in Lake Charles provided an excellent product and excellent service. He measured my windows, matched the trim color, and ordered the new shutters. The shutters arrived in 3 weeks as promised and he did a great job installing them. They look beautiful. I also plan to order some Roman Shades in the near future. Mr. Stagg was very professional, prompt and patient in working with my husband and myself and with the other contractor involved in our remodel of the bathroom and our bedroom. He and his installer were respectful of our time and worked with us every way possible to give us excellent service and very BEAUTIFUL shutters. I am a return customer having first had shutters placed in my kitchen and then next a year or so later in our master bedroom and bath. I will return in the coming months to make additional purchases. Love the shutters and I really love the degree of professionalism displayed when getting them ordered and installed!!
