Owner: Tom Riley Tom Riley experienced his professional calling at a young age while working at his family’s wallpaper business, Garland Harper. Over those early years, Tom worked in every aspect of the family business and found the art of business and connection to customers exciting. After the family business was sold in 1986 Tom took his industry knowledge, product inspirations and enthusiasm for helping turn customer’s houses into homes, to Wallflowers. The owners of Wallflowers were hoping to hire Tom as a carpet salesman when they decided to sell the business into his trustworthy hands. On January 1st, 1988 Tom took the helm at Wallflowers. Originally a wallpaper business, Wallflowers quickly expanded into everything for windows, walls and floors – including blinds, full service drapery installations, along with everything a homeowner’s heart desires for carpet, tile and hardwood. In 1989 Tom brought on a team of talented interior designers who have created a loyal clientele. These same designers are still with Tom today. “We’re like a really good rock band that has stayed together over the years.” The Wallflowers legacy is one of fine products, excellent service and an array of price points that shows clients and customers how much they are appreciated.
