I've had the pleasure of working with Liz for numerous projects in my home. She has made drapes, valances, fabric shades, and pillows for several rooms in my home. I've been very impressed by the quality and her professionalism. If I had any concerns, she made sure the finished project was to my liking. I would highly recommend Liz!

I needed some ready-made panels sewn together to make a 1-way draw drapery for a sliding glass door. Liz was excellent on guiding me through the nuances of such a project even though I initially thought it was a straightforward request. Had she not been so experienced in making drapes, there could have been many pitfalls on my initial request. I learned a ton. She asked me lots of questions and explained details to be sure I understood. I'm a detail-oriented person myself, so I really appreciated that. We came up with a plan and the final project came out great. They hang beautifully; everything is even and neat. I can't comment on the pricing because I've nothing to compare it with, but I feel I got plenty of value. Money well spent. I've gone 3 years with bare sliders having so much indecision on what to do. It is nice to have draperies again. p.s. I did start to make inquiries at a window treatment storefront (with a workroom partner) on the project and they did not mention or ask or warn about the issues Liz immediately identified. I never went forward to compare pricing. Apples and oranges!

Now that the kids are grown and gone, we have begun renovating our entire home. Liz has been an invaluable asset during this process. She has helped with fabric choices and styles and has created gorgeous window treatments for six rooms so far. We’re very much looking forward to working with her for the remainder.

I have worked with window covering fabricators all over the country and I think that Liz Hawkes is one of the finest fabricators that I have ever worked with. She is constantly pushing her skill set ever higher with classes, addtional training and keeping up with every product change in the industry. There is not anything that she cannot do with a piece of fabric and she is absolutely my go to person for any job where I need fabric sewn, molded and worked into something breathtakingly beautiful. I do not use anyone else in the greater Boston area anymore. She is always my first call.

I was extremely happy with the finished product and the expert installation - I have received numerous compliments. Liz was very professional but took the time to go over what they would look like and also showed me various options.
