This is our second project with Mike and he does truly fantastic work! He listens and provides good input when nailing down the specifics of the design. He's very friendly and respectful of our home, cleaning up at the end of the day. He also shows up when he says he will, which is a huge plus in my book considering many contractors don't arrive when they say they will. Highly recommend!

We were looking for shiplap installation on a few walls. I randomly found 77 Carpentry online and wish I could keep this company a secret. Mike (the owner) is an excellent and skilled carpenter, we would highly recommend! He gave us a fair quote, completed the project in a timely manner, and is extremely meticulous. The area was always cleaned up at the end of his day, he was communicative and punctual. Mike’s work is exceptional and we are thrilled with how our project turned out.

Beyond pleased! We hired 77 Carpentry to install non-structural beams and additional molding in our dining room. Mike had previously worked on a full home remodel at our house and we were beyond thankful to have the opportunity to work with him again. In both instances, Mike did meticulous work and was professional in every regard. Mike helped us source the wood for the project, handled the interaction with the lumber yard (shout out to Carolina's Urban Lumber) and kept us updated throughout the process. When installation time came, it took Mike two days and each day he left the house spotless. The beams look beautiful and the attention to detail is truly a mark of Mike's dedication to good work. Mike completed a project that consisted of a wall of Board and Batten as well as crown molding for my living room. I could not be more impressed with the quality of the work as well as his timeliness in getting it done. He was on time, efficient and shared his opinion when i came up with ideas. I truly appreciate his help in finishing this project and hope to use him again in the future.

All we wanted to do was paint the exterior of our house. But our painting contractor uncovered some hail damage, which had caused significant water-related structural damage, which is why we hired a well-respected residential construction company in Omaha. Mike Whitham was the foreman who was given the responsibility of rebuilding our house. But Mike wasn't just any foreman. Mike was a hands-on hammer-swinging master carpenter who knew how to get the job done right. Mike, along with the crew he led, worked in our home five days a week for 5½ months! During that time Mike and his crew removed the stucco siding from our house, repaired the water-related structural damage, replaced the windows and doors, removed the old roof, and installed a new hail resistant roof, added new gutters, and finished it off with sandstone and cedar shingles! We invested over $500,000 in the finished project, and saw our house completely transformed into something gorgeous! Perhaps the best part for us was that during the 5½ months, Mike became more than a foreman; Mike became a friend. We trusted Mike so much we left him the keys to our house and went on a two-week vacation. Sadly, due to an amazing opportunity, Mike and his family relocated to Charlotte. We say sadly, because he started the project as a construction foreman and ended as a family friend. Our loss is Charlotte's gain.
