Blackjack Industrial Designs

Blackjack Industrial Designs to me is the culmination of all my previous career paths. Early on I started as certified miner working various stone quarries across the state of Wisconsin for 4 years. That is where I first learned how to carefully work with materials. I then had the opportunity to work for a mechanical contractor for nearly 6 years where I learned the fabrication process inside and out. That experience really put it into perspective on how important attention to detail is. A miscalculation early on meant hours of finesse later! I then took my mechanical knowledge with me to work for a truss company that I had been working for on the side over the years. I was their new Field Operations Manager. The cool thing about their product is that is it modular therefore the possibilities of working with it are virtually endless. Along with my team I was able to build award winning trade show booths, Super Bowl sets, Golf Channel sets, Las Vegas Performance sets, and access platforms and towers in the aerospace industry. Having the opportunity to work alongside Boeing, Bombardier, and American Airlines was by far the most humbling endeavor. We came up with solutions to change the way they manufactured and maintained their aircraft. That job lead to amazing networking and travel all over the country and Canada, and it also lead to the best problem solving experiences in my career.
