Paul Emerick is a true artist with an eye for perfection. Paul transformed our beach home (which was built new this year) but was in need of a bit of uniqueness. The initial job was to build hand crafted bunk beds. We showed him a few ideas and he created a masterpiece. Exactly what we wanted. From there he added a soffit to our kitchen, shiplap to the island, board and batten to the entry, cabinets to the laundry room, trimmed out the entire house, added a mudroom bench and cubby with shiplap, and finished a bonus room. Replaced the front door, built steps for the hot tub with a matching shelf which was added to the outdoor shower. Last but not least, Paul added a custom touch to each bathroom vanity trimming them out. We cannot recommend him enough, he is also very trustworthy and neat. Most (90%) of this work was completed while we were not there, and I never walked into anything but a clean house. Thank you for helping us create a special home.

We hired Paul Emerick Jr. as part of a large-scale renovation on our home. We were in search of a reliable, high-quality, and reasonable construction firm to assist us with a variety of trim work projects. We were so fortunate to find Paul! We hired Paul to build a large custom banquette in our kitchen, custom millwork in our foyer and crown molding throughout our home. He is a true delight to work with and displayed the utmost professionalism, was highly communicative throughout the project and upfront and reasonable with pricing. Finding the right trim work professional can be a challenge (particularly in a beach town, during a pandemic, etc.), but Paul Emerick Jr. construction is truly an exceptional company. PJ is extraordinary! His attention to detail is amazing. He was instrumental in some plan designs, that I would never have thought of. Great example, I now have a gorgeous wall with shiplap, an A frame living room ceiling with B Board, finished off with a beam. I still look around with a big smile on my face. PJ is very neat, as in, you are not living in a construction zone while he is remodeling your home. PJ is dependable, very rare these days. I would recommend PJ for any and every project.

I cannot recommend Paul highly enough! Paul renovated an old stairway in our home, and completely transformed the space. He was really thoughtful in terms of asking for our opinion on overall details/style, but was also incredibly helpful in leveraging his own expertise to make recommendations when needed. Going into the project, we didn't know exactly what we wanted, and Paul could not have been any more patient as we tried to figure that out. He was such a partner throughout the process, and as other reviewers stated, we 110% trusted him with both the project and our home. In fact, many times he was there working alone, and we never thought twice about it. The stairs and shiplap that he installed are incredible, all due to his talent and eye for detail. We couldn't be more grateful to Paul, and are already looking for more projects for him :)

Paul is the first and only contractor you need to hire for any project you need done. Paul has the highest work ethic of any contractor I have ever used. The quality of his work is second to none. As another reviewer said I fully trust him with a key to my home.

Paul Emerick is a contractor that you can trust with the key to your house. He is conscientious, hard working and talented. He has so much pride in the work that he does and just beams happiness when you appreciate the results. We have done 2 projects with Paul. One was a roof top deck that has been worked on by 3 different contractors at the beach. We have been plagued with a reoccurring leak for 15 years. Well, Paul just loves a challenge! He took part the deck piece by piece until we could determine what exactly was the cause of the leak and then he took the utmost care in reassembling and waterproofing. A very different approach than the other contractors that have worked on it before, they just wanted to slap another layer on top of the existing deck. We selected a railing system, but, we wanted it installed with a double top rail. Paul just figured it out and got it done beautifully. The second project was to update our staircase from a colonial spindled railing to an upscale transitional style. The work was done mostly over winter when we were not there. Paul did a fantastic job and we just can’t get over how it has improved the overall look of the house! We highly recommend Paul Emerick for your next project!

I have hired Paul Emerick Jr. for several projects over the past several years. He is a master carpenter who always does the best job possible. Paul listens to the ideas of the home owner as well as suggesting his own ideas. If the home owner does not specify the materials to be used, Paul will automatically chose the better ones available. Paul will work with customers on time frames.
