Tom is a master woodworker but that's not all. There isn't a home improvement project that he can't do. For us he put up the backsplash in our kitchen, and most recently completed the huge project of finishing our basement with closets, bathroom, living room, kitchenette, and home gym. He was always punctual, hard-working, and motivated to do his best and finish on time. His creative problem-solving skills for bumps that came up along the road were impressive . His rates are reasonable and fair. We couldn't recommend him more. -Carrie Shapiro

Tom is a skilled craftsman who takes pride in his work. Commumication was excellent and this resulted in a custom piece of furniture that met our needes. He is reasonably priced for quality design and results. It is nice to have custom woodwork as the focal point of our room.

my husband and i hired Tom to build us a dining room table recently. i had a definite idea of what i wanted and could not find exactly what i wanted in stores or online. We met with tom, explained what we wanted, and within a few days he emailed his plans for our table. we even had our choice of wood and we went with his suggestion, beautiful cherry wood. he easily completed the table within our timeframe and delivered us a gorgeous table. the table is a 48" pedestal table with the ability to add 4 additional leaves. the table opens smoothly and the leaves are easily installed. the table is lovely and sturdy and the finish has held up beautifully through many dinners including the wear and tear of children's use. last but not least, we now have a beautiful custom made solid wood dining table at a lower price than anything i had found while shopping. i would definitely call on tom again without any hesitation. he is professional, knowledgable and efficient.

I contacted a few local outfits,most never came,some said yes ,they would come and look at the project,set a time,but never showed up, i contacted (tjt company) they came, gave me a quote, i had them do the work, work completed,((10-22-14)), we are 100% satisified,-we are going to have more work done ,and will be using this company,

As a homeowner who has worked with dozens of contractors over the years - I wanted to make sure that Tom - from TJT Woodwork is recognized as being at the absolute top of the list. He is the ideal of what contractors should be. I learned that the reason Tom is so good at managing the project, reducing costs and producing a superior finished product is simple...he does this because he loves the work. After 30 years of building cabinets, shelves, stairs, furniture, built ins and many others he is a master at it - all at very reasonable prices - I'm already thinking about the next project. For us Tom created custom book shelves for a 15' x 9' wall in what is now the library. I'm sure there are pictures up on it. The guy is awesome. Call him and get him on a project.
