Handmade Home: The Paper Pompom
Put your own spin on these fluffy, pretty paper poufs for parties, dinners or year-round décor
I love craft projects that can be done quickly and for little money. These darling paper pompoms fall into that category. These pompoms have made their way around the blogosphere as decorations for special occasions from showers, to weddings and birthdays. But they can easily translate to home décor too. They add a playful element to any room, and they aren't just for hanging from the ceiling, either. Here's my easy-to-make take on this fun idea.

To use these pretty paper blooms on flat surfaces just pull the tissue layers open to one side only so one side of the pompom remains flat. This way they can used as wall art, tabletop décor, or tied to chair backs for a party.
Smaller versions of these pompoms can be used as gift toppers too — the possibilities go on and on. Decorating with your own paper pompoms? We'd love to see your photos!
