What exactly is on top of the wash/dryer? It looks different than the counter top? - I am looking for something to prevent all my clothes from falling between & behind my washer/dryer. Wondering if this was custom made for these specific machines!?! »
candogoods I cut a piece of clear vinyl that fit exactly on top of my two machines. Works like a charm. Go to fabric store and get 16 or 20 gauge vinyl. It should be thick. Or get a colored vinyl for a style statement.
yancyee I have used an old laminate door covered in a coordinating wallpaper. Worked great for a long time without spending a lot of money. Easily moved for access so that repairs can be done and makes a great place for folding clothes.
Billy Pike - Paris Furnishings, Inc. shaupt2918 and aliphilips- FYI... I design my paper dispensers with a simple oval closet rod. Just cut rod to length and screw on rod ends and... Voila! There is your dispenser, as many as you like, placed exactly where you like. Happy wrapping!
rvandeven I love this floor. I'm drawn to the repeat pattern as well as the neutral almost tone on tone color. I'd like carpeting something like this in my basement.
love it! How much space is from the top of the dryer and counter top - On the sides of the washer and dryer how much spce to the wood support? Also the distance from the top of the dryer or washer to the counter top? Great Job!!! »

Homeowner Jessica Young says of this laundry room and gift wrapping station, "You can use different colors [of wrapping paper] for different people during the holidays. It's nice to have a variety to chose from. Storing it in the laundry room is convenient, saves space and keeps everything neat."

we could do this layout. Since we won't have a window along the back, maybe we can stack our w/d and put it along that wall, freeing up both side walls for counters/sorting bins, and a sink.
