The upstairs hallway is filled with natural light from the windows in the stair. The stained oak hardwood floors also run throughout the upstairs, making the space warm and durable.

We designed the home having in consideration some key elements and furniture that clients had a sentimental attachment to it. The style was totally Eclectic with an accent of African decor for the accessories. The clients wanted an elegant space with bright colors.

This hallway shows a partial collection of clients African baskets and art work. The wool rugs that are hanging were custom made for client from pictures of views where she lived in Africa. Amazing. Replaced old light fixtures with new directional LED light fixtures. The Aardvark canvas just cracked me up when it was unwrapped.

Fresh hydrangeas from this coastal home's garden rest atop a vintage turquoise demilune. A new modern silver mirror is juxtaposed above the found piece.

This custom door and frame were based on a thai shape. The curved parts were made with layers of pre-scored flexible plywood attached to a mold. The wood was then coated with a plasticized concrete and spray painted gold. The top glass is a rectangle built into the wall itself. The door is your standard shower door.
The hall ceiling beyond is made of inexpensive bamboo mats and indirectly lit with basic warm white LED strips.
The sliding doors are hand painted to a faux wood finish.
