deer shed their antlers annually so finding one (or buying it) is a great coup. Their organic branch like forms are a true celebration of nature's beauty.
A lone antler is a striking natural object to use on a mantle...
Because deer antlers are shed naturally every year, you can use them without
additions to any decor. They are humane in that deer shed their antlers annually, so they're a true celebration of nature's beauty. If you can buy recycled antlers for your display, even better.

extended shed roof, metal roof [gotta have!], exposed ceiling framing. Have you any experience with PassivHaus design? Thanks very much, Karin.
Building prices vary from region to region, so is hard to say. My suggestion would be to talk to a local contractor. My gut is that is would be hard to achieve, and again, speaking to local resources will be more informative for you. This one came in over that price, closer to 175/ft if I recall
design is a great measure to use when designing a home. Some factors to keep in mind are minimizing air leakage, extremely efficient windows, placement of home on the site, fenestration locations, and energy efficient heating and cooling.
