The InSync Home was produced by Builder and HOME magazines and built in Baldwin Park, Florida as the official show home of 2007 International Builders’ Show.
One of the main emphases of InSync Home was to blend indoor and outdoor living. A key area of the home that brings this together is the lanai that opens to the inner courtyard and pool. It was necessary to find a way to merge the two spaces in order to allow the family to enjoy the outdoors without having to suffer from heat or insects.
The Executive Screens are integrated into the design of the lanai, retracting into the arches when not in use. The Phantom installation team worked closely with the client to ensure that the screens would blend seamlessly with the overall décor of the home. The InSync design team selected 18/14 insect mesh in charcoal with a sun control factor of 40% and openness of 58%. By using a recessed implementation, the three screens are completely out-of-sight when not needed, uniting the indoor and outdoor spaces in a unique and creative way.

Built in 1950 as an exact replica of a 1780s Sea Captain’s home, this New England heritage style house is a unique blend of modern conveniences and 18th century ambiance.
The homeowners needed a screen solution for their porch that would provide insect protection, allow them to preserve the clear view of their yard, and not take away from the traditional features or elegance of the porch.
The porch’s classic style and authentic materials dictated that the chosen screens must retract completely out of sight when not in use. The homeowners selected Executive Screens for their ease of use and worry-free maintenance. When not in use, the screens are completely retracted and when needed, lowered at the touch of a button on a remote control or a control pad located near the door. When winter arrives, the screens are safely stored in their housings until they are needed the following spring.

Collaborations are typically so fruitful and this one was no different. The homeowners started by hiring an architect to develop a vision and plan for transforming their very traditional brick home into a contemporary family home full of modern updates. The Kitchen Studio of Glen Ellyn was hired to provide kitchen design expertise and to bring the vision to life.
The bamboo cabinetry and white Ceasarstone countertops provide contrast that pops while the white oak floors and limestone tile bring warmth to the space. A large island houses a Galley Sink which provides a multi-functional work surface fantastic for summer entertaining. And speaking of summer entertaining, a new Nana Wall system — a large glass wall system that creates a large exterior opening and can literally be opened and closed with one finger – brings the outdoor in and creates a very unique flavor to the space.
Matching bamboo cabinetry and panels were also installed in the adjoining family room, along with aluminum doors with frosted glass and a repeat of the limestone at the newly designed fireplace.

The homeowners of this beachfront home in Jamestown, RI, enjoy a stunning view of Mackerel Cove. In order to better entertain their friends and family and make the most of their seaside views, they decided to add a new porch to the existing building.
The homeowners needed a screen solution for their new porch that would provide insect protection, and preserve the clear view of the water without taking away from the elegance of the home.
In order to maintain the architectural integrity, the homeowners insisted the screens must retract completely out of sight when not in use. Phantom’s Executive motorized retractable screens were installed in recessed housings and are completely invisible when not in use.
Due to frequent strong ocean breezes, the screens are also connected to a wind sensor. The sensor protects the screens from damage by automatically raising them when the wind reaches 40 MPH. When winter arrives, the screens are safely stored in their recessed housings until they are needed the following spring.

Located in the foothills of the North Georgia Appalachians, Big Canoe is just one hour north of Atlanta. Designed as a dream retirement home, this luxurious lodge melds mountainous terrain with many custom features and modern amenities.
During the warmer months, the homeowners enjoy spending time on their back porch, entertaining and taking in the spectacular views. In order to combat the biting insects, allow the cool breezes to flow through their home and preserve unobstructed views, the home owners requested retractable screens to be installed on their doors, windows, and back porch.
Screens of Georgia, Phantom Screens Authorized Distributor, installed Professional retractable door screens on several doorways throughout the home. Providing natural ventilation while keeping insects out of the house, the screens blend with custom doorways and retract out of sight when not in use. Perfect for the oversized front double-French entryway, Professional door screens do not detract from the look and feel of the lodge design.

Introducing our "Glastonbury" design from the Quatrefoil Collection of Redi-Screens. This pattern of interlocking rings is a stunning combination of old and new, as it brings an ancient symbol into a modern home. We particularly love this design placed above the bed because it serves two purposes: wall art and headboard.
