“We hired Bevins & Company to do a complete yard redesign and installation. The mission for the back yard was to remove a tired paver patio and to create a lush private space for entertaining and relaxation. The addition of two large structural trellises, as well as a screen of evergreens, gave us the privacy we needed, as well as giving us the space to grow ornamental vines that could be changed from season to season. Large urns give us a pop of seasonal color, and planting spaces, anchored by boxwood and climbing hydrangeas, allow us to attract butterflies and hummingbirds with perennials and annuals. The mission for the front yard was to remove overgrown shrubbery and to create a more open landscape for a large annual and perennial bed. Bevins & Company removed some plantings, worked with the remaining plantings, and balanced those with the addition of ornamental trees and shrubs. They removed an existing concrete sidewalk, re-oriented it to create a better traffic flow, and replaced the concrete with beautiful bluestone. During both phases, Bevins & Company was respectful of our budget and our time. Bevins & Company kept in constant touch so we were always aware of the project's progress. I would certainly hire this company again, and have recommended Bevins & Company to others.”

“I am a custom home builder. My clients expect superb product at a competitive price. I am also only as good as my subcontractors. With that being said, I am proud to say that RJ, and Lambs Lawn care is the primary finish grade/landscape/seed and straw company for "Weddington Custom Homes LLC". They are simply unmatched when it comes to scheduling and quality of work. Are they the cheapest? No. Are they the best and most comprehensive? Yes. “Mr. Fischer was very prompt and extremely courteous when he came to our home to look at our back yard. Although our landscape job was not as large as many his company has done, he treated it as though it were. his sub-contractors were very clean, professional and polite, making sure the grounds were kept free of rubble and debris during the project. Mr. Fischer came every day, often more than once to spend time with his workers to see the job was being done to our specifications. I liked the fact that Mr. Fischer immediately "got it" when we discussed the landscape design project, the immediate goal and the long-term goal to get to the end result. We are now in phase II of our little project. Again, Mr. Fischer is treating it and us as if it were the White House Gardens he was tending. It was almost like putting him on auto-pilot. I told him I was from the Deep South and missed my native plantings in this colder climate. He immediately proposed plants that I was familiar with, that would work with the soil, temperature, and placement. He understood our limited budget and our plan for the overall look. When we finally planted sod, he came everyday to check on the grass to be sure it was getting enough water. He sent emails to remind us what to be watching for and how to prevent problems. If we weren't home, he'd leave a note for us, and then follow-up with a phone call. It is no wonder his employees have been with him for over 20 years and his name in the landscaping business is a household word in our area.”

“We are planning to build a home. I contacted several Landscaping businesses in our area. I talked to local professionals (architect, area residents and landscaping businesses). I chose Designscape because they provided reason to do so now. My initial discussions and meeting have been with their landscape architect (Kyle L). I was particularly pleased with Designscape for several reasons: A) He listened, asked questions and exchanged and educated me. He answered my questions and helped me determine a plan of action appropriate to our current status (since we haven't begun building yet). B) We mutually agreed there was benefit to an initial meeting at the lot. Prior to the meeting, he had me send him appropriate "prep" info and documents. (For example: my architectural elevations, as well as photos - which I shopped houzz.com for landscape design info, pictures, etc. Sooooooo helpful. NOTE: I love houzz.com and recommend it all the time (to interior designer, architect, friends, anyone on the professional or like me......an end user! I told Designscape/Kyle how helpful your website has been for me in particular because I don't livein a major City and my resources are very limited locally.) I have been very pleased with Kyle's support and direction. Once we move forward with construction, I plan to move forward with Designscape and his services.”
