I have looked at thousands of kitchen photos in preparation for building our new home and this is the kitchen of my dreams. My kitchen (12'x19) will be open to the family room(24'x19) with 12' ceilings. I am unsure as to whether I should drop the ceilings somewhat in the kitchen to allow the cabinets to go all the way up.
