I love my new townhouse, which was converted from a duplex into a single family home some years before we bought it. Because the downstairs is more or less open concept, where there was once a corridor there is now a door that opens directly into the living room, which runs wide and open across the front of the house. I'm looking for tips on how to designate an entrance area without renovations, but also without disrupting the minimalist mid-century style I have going. Any tips would be appreciated, or photos...
One day in the future, we will probably add an extension to the front of the house to create a proper foyer, but this is not within reach at the moment.
