What does this space look like in the winter?

I don't see any lawn and only a few trees and shrubs. What do you do when these flowers die back in the winter? They are not all evergreen.

    This photo is color enhanced but winter look should be golden tall grasses (covered w/snow dusting?) and low sheered green mounds

      Yes! I see there are boxwood hedges throughout and other evergreens interspersed throughout...Simply gorgeous and labor intensive!

      Not necessarily labor intensive. My neighbor's yard is similar and it's mostly perennials so color from early spring through fall. Very little room for weeds to grow and she keeps some annuals in pots.
