Trees above have shaded out the grass (which we hope will come back with tree-trimming). This bed is awful- hated it when we moved in. We need to bury the hose so the foundation can easily be watered. We would like to use rock and wrap it around the house so bugs don't stick around in the moist mulch. Thinking of rocks and agave or yucca plants (read: easy to maintain)? Open to other ideas and types of rocks/ plants. The house faces almost straight north. Thank you for any help/ advice!!
