I'm guessing they are clear alder. I don't see grain color variations cherry would have.

They are actually Birch with a dye toner and glaze. It was a custom finish to match the original cabinets. The cabinets you see in this photo are all new. There are other cabinets in this kitchen that were from the original kitchen.
