Can I use these bark for gritty mix?

Hello,
I found a nursery in the bay area, CA that carry two different bags of bark that I would like to know if I can use them for the mix

It's label as the following:

1. Gardeners Professional Decorative Bark Mini Mulch.
2. Gardeners Orchid Bark Seedling

Both of the them stated on the bag as "Forest Bark"

Yes! Wow, what a score!
I would still screen the material and remove as much sapwood as possible, but I think you'll be able to use most of the bag.

Both bags in 2 cu ft size

1. Gardeners Professional Decorative Bark Mini Mulch. ($9)
2. Gardeners Orchid Bark Seedling ($15)

Unfortunately, others in the soil section are saying that these may not be fir or pine bark since it only stated "forest bark".

Both bags look sooo good in term of the 1/8-1/4 size bark and no peat moss. :( I just wish these are good enough. I guess I need to stick with the 8 qt Orchid bag for $7 each.
