You could be here in Wisconsin. We had a good one yesterday (66F here), but its back to heavy rain and clouds now until Friday. Next weekend looks like garbage...another cold shot Sunday. Maybe after that the pattern will break, but who knows.

My broccoli under plastic looks pretty good, but everything else is either purple (from cold) or just sitting there. I still don't have any tulips open, although they are pretty big.

The only flowering I have is the apricots.

Ah... me neither, lol! It's been a nasty spring here, too, but we must be getting used to it. Saskatchewan has been dealing with severe flooding for a few years now. Two of our pastures have been flooded since 2007, I think it was. The garden was under water for two straight weeks last spring. It's finally started warming up here and we've not had rain yet (knock on wood), but it's in the forecast shortly. Our garden hasn't dried up yet either. It may be possible to till a strip on the north end this week for my onion seedlings, but that's only if the rain holds off a little longer.

Here's hoping things improve for all of us!

I would gladly take some of the rain. We are in a severe drought in my area. Only had 1 inch of rain since October! The past few days has seen rain to all compass points, except on top of our area. *sigh* Am hesitant to finish planting my garden due to possible water rationing later.

I'll take our drought, wind, dust, and wildfires any day over cold and wet. Our rain total since mid September, 0.15 inches. As long as my well holds out it's OK.

If you hate the winters up there why not move down south? I did long ago and wouldn't go back. I'm eating apricot, blueberry, blackberry, and sweet cherry from my greenhouse. The sweetcorn is tasseling. Southwest beats Midwest any day.
