Your question is stumping me a little. Normally a primocane, or a new shoot for this year, is closely attached to the old florocane clump and shares roots with the master clump.

You would have to divide the whole clump. It is getting a little far along this year to be hacking at caneberry clumps because they are getting active growth. You might transplant the whole clump; probably need nearly a foot of soil in all directions with it.

If you have a new shoot coming up some distance from a main clump, you can fish around in the ground and see if it has roots of its own; it can be dug up and transplanted.

A better method is to let some of your cane ends touch the ground this fall; pin them to the ground with large staples.
They will root in place and when the new shoots sprout next spring, they will have their own roots and can be severed from the old cane and easily transplanted.

Take all roots that transport in container of water tie plant down in container if try's to float. Another way is to take round point shovel cut roots around plant so fit in like one gallon pot dig dirt from one side shovel cuts so take shovel cut under plant now root ball loose pull shovel out from under plant but leave tip under plant lean root ball over on shovel never pick up slide shovel out hole so one gallon container has room to fit under tip shovel. Tilt shovel and pot upward at same time root ball slide in pot off shovel. My mom would tell me sometime you need to use both hands all four feet lol.
