Lilo, your outside pics are great. I'm trying to bring the outside in. I've always wanted a birch jule log, and this year I got one. We found a free(live) log, cut it to fit and decorated it with fake flowers.
It can't rival the real thing, but I'm happy with the outcome.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays for everybody. Have a full house here and most likely can't come up for air until Wednesday afternoon. It's fun though. The outside looks kind of dreary around here and insted of snow we have light rain. Lilo, I can't compete with your picture and West Gardener, I love your yule log.
