Name That Plant!

Mystery seedling with larger leaves

I sowed seeds of baptisia (I am told it does not match that), cosmos, zinnia, anise hyssop, cardinal flower, hyssop, pineapple sage, Canterbury cup and saucer, and veronica SBB in this area. I do not see it matching any of them (except maybe Canterbury cup and saucer, as I am not at all familiar with it).

Any ideas? It is possible I put a winter-sowed seedling there. You bet next year, I will mark them!

I think you are onto something. The baptisia seeds I bought were for a yellow baptisia. The flowers from a drawing for yellow baptisia on that site, though, look EXACTLY like some of the crotalaria flowers I found in my search. It also seems there may be some relation between them. Either way, it seems I am getting my tall spiky yellow flowers (assuming it survives the winter). Thanks! :)

Anyone have a guess on which crotalaria (or want to throw out another option)?
