2. Do you have to pull the tank to replace the fuel lines and clean the tank?
3. If so, Please show Pics why and I might be able to suggest threading w/o pulling.
4. Seeing the tank best view X requirements to pull, I should see suggestions toward pulling.
5. KIS! Keep It Simple, by not pulling the tank if it is not a must IMO.

I was watching a ryobi 32CC trimmer Utube that looks a lot like the one I have - probably made by the same manufacturer. It looks like the carb and the tank are one unit. Have to take the carb off and the tank comes with it.

IâÂÂm not up on the latest trimmers, blowers, chainsaws but I doubt I have seen one that I had to pull the tank or carb to replace the fuel lines or cln the tank. if that is the easiest that is what needs to be done. My lessons have normally been, "I wasted too much time, work and frustration afterwardsâ (due to my lack of experience, on a first time job). I feel most lines are routed simpler for the ease of replacing in recent years.

Can you share a close pic of your carb/tank or a link as your carb/tank?

Here is a pic of the tank/carb. You might be right about not removing the tank. When time, I will check it closer. I've read some reviews stating that it's so much easier with the tank off to replace the fuel lines.

Thanks for the Pic! This is an animal I have not worked on directly.

1. I see your point of the carb is related to holding the tank on from the angle shown.
2. My point is line can be trimmed/pulled to thread the new line (needle nose/wire leading if needed. New quality line can be trimmed 1/8âÂÂ, pulled w/o a problem.
3. The bottom line is still what works best if the carb has to come off.
4. The primer bulb is snapped if a screw is not showing (pics, etc to keep lines correct).
