Wow, customer service from http://www.irrigationdirect.com said that it is a Toro 1" series 262 valve. Mad props to them (but they're out of stock or I would order it)

Hmm... they linked to a series 264 ... typo?

That is a Toro valve. Off the top of my head it is a 252 series BUT they may have changed numbers to the 264 but if you go to a suppy house to get parts everyone will know it as a 1" 252.

Thank you Tom, I went to local supply house and picked up a pair of Toro 264 valves. Yanked everything out of it and replaced non-functional components in my irrigation system. Things are working wonderfully!
