Edith Bogue Magnolia location

Just planted a very long awaited, large 10'-11'tall EB Magnolia (in its burlap & wire) and wondering if the location is going to be suitable? Don't want to move it if I don't have to as it was a Magilla to get this large tree it to its spot to begin with.
Location: Full sun 8am-2/3pm...largely shaded to its southwest/west by 5' fence & towering white pines and also protected along west/northwest by 8'tall forsythia hedge about 15 ft away (but hedge has an inconvenient unprotected 6' hole/space opposite the EB). Bradford Pear and our house are 20-30 ft to the north...EB completely open to the east...a shed and more forsythia hedges 30-40' to the south. EB will be viewed 90% of the time from the east as it is intended to be a specimen in our back yard.
Any suggestions or input about taking care of this tree to help insure its success....or maybe suggestions for improving its surroundings in its current location? Advice would be much appreciated. Thank u.
