African Violets

verigated leaves on african violets ?

do any of you have any of the avs with verigated leaves and if so can you show me a picture and please let me know the name .. I think they must be very pretty .

Private Dancer is a vigorous and easy-to-grow variegated violet.

It is available from Lyndon Lyon ... and, sometimes, on ebay.

Private Dancer is an excellent example of Tommielou Variegation. There are also a few other types of variegation, notably crown (champion) and crown (lilian jarrett). There's also a chimera variegation that you can see in Harmony's Little Stinker. If you're on facebook, like the african violet society of america and take a look through their photos. they have a very nice selection!

What I like about all the variegated violets is that they like it slightly on the cooler and brighter side - more suitable for my home/living conditions.
