Hi, Mike. I should have read your post before I posted the picture of mine. I put mine under "ID Please". If what I have is a Gervase, it's not as magnificent as I thought it would be.

Mine is a soft pink color, kind of the same pink but a soft color as the pink flamingo lawn ornaments.

I see your title is "1 for 5", I wonder if there are any statistics on mislabels. I've only had 2 bloom and one was mislabeled. The third one blooming is this supposedly "Gervase". If they are not labeled correctly, I am not sure why they bother labeling them at all. Just buy a bulb and take your chances--that kind of appears the way it acutally is.

I think your first flower may be either Susan or Vera..Looks like the same flower that Summerperson posted only yours appears to have better color..not a good substitute for Gervase.
I would say you do have a Neon..looks good to me!

Here are some pictures of my Susan and Vera..and now that I look at my pictures again they look the same! Vera grown outside in the bucket took on a very coral pink much different than when bloomed in the house. See what you think. The only thing that bothers me is that neither yours or Summerperson's flowers have the slight pink in the throat..maybe mine are mislabeled?

That is for sure 'Neon' and not 'Half & Half' which is an exclusive at only one company. 'Half & Half' isn't pink, it's red and cream. So you do have 2 out of 4!!! That still isn't great but it's better.

Why is it that people that get mislabels rarely get stuff that is better than what they originally purchased?

What do you think about Pink Star for the other one? The flower is about 4" across and the scape is only about 12" and very thin.
