What variety of yard long bean is best for growing in this unrelenting desert heat? I planted the brown one last year and all of them died. I planted them at various times and they would get tons of aphids or dry up. I maybe got only got 2 beans out of planting about 20 of them.

There are a couple of other varieties with white seeds, black seeds. There is also black stripe and stickless wonder. Also, there is red noodle which is a red pod and purple wonder with a purple pod.

Anyone know what is best for growing starting now and throughout the summer and fall?

If anyone has any to trade too, I got lots of seeds to trade.
