Very nice! What do you have growing up your shepard's hook?

Those are scarlet runner beans on the shephard's hook. The hummingbirds like them, and my son loves to eat the huge beans that grow. These beans actually taste better when they are larger, unlike other beans I have grown.

I have to get better at taking pics!! I kept meaning to borrow my daughter's camera the last couple of weeks...I had a big clump of the most beautiful red dianthus in front of a hosta with bright green leaves....think it is 'lancifolia'. It was so gorgeous!
