ever hear of 6-BA growth regulator?

I was talking with our local chemical rep about diluting dry Gro-PowerÂ© 5-3-1 in water and applying it to sensitive broms, and how I've noticed a surge in pups. He thought that perhaps the company was adding this chemical compound to it's product NOT to regulate growth but in this instance as a basal growth enhancer, perhaps for turf. There are different formulations of 6-BA (or BA-6) so I've contacted the company hoping for an answer.

6-BA is a hormone in the group of cytokinins and if present, it should be stated on the label. I have had a look at your Gro-PowerÂ© 5-3-1 and there is nothing.

Bruse.china tell us more about the product. I have read about several products used in tissue culture. One is 6-BA and the other is 6-BAP. Are these 2 the same product?

There is a product called BAP-10 that Hosta and Daylily people use to get them to increase (pup) faster. It would probably work with Broms too to help increase numbers. I've never used it but it does seem to be popular. It could just be the fertilizer doing it I find it hard to believe that they would add something like that to a product and not list it.
