I don't know, but I think I've got some of those growing in my lawn too.
As soon as I take out the lawnmower, they're toast :)
Although I have removed hundreds of dandelions, I don't bother removing these, as there is much fewer of them, and they don't have nice single roots like the dandelions, so not that easy to dig out....

Actually it does only have one big root with tiny thin ones similar to the dandelion. I know what the roots look like because I ended up pulling some out to make room and threw them in a pail with water and the big one seems to like it.???

They tend to spread like crazy. I have them in my yard and over the past two years I would say the amount has tripled if not more so.
