Personally I keep all of my sarrs very wet during the growing season. You should never let it dry out and having an inch or two of water would be the best.

Keep it in a water tray all growing season as Alcran says.

Or you can put it a bucket or planter or hanging basket. The deeper the better and they do like being wet.
