Maybe not so commonly grown by succulent specialists, you might get more responses in Houseplants and Tropicals. This can supposedly be rooted from tip cuttings but I haven't tried it.

That's probably true, Shrubs makes a good point.

Pls. try a search for Peps. over at Houseplants, a grower named Karen715 is particularly good w/ Peps, you can either search the posts, or post this pic directly at HP (Pic) Gallery, where she's likely to see it.

I think in the past I did try tip cuttings of this & they failed, but perhaps I did something wrong w/ it.

Also, it MAY be best for you to wait 'til Spring to try, not sure.

Hi Tom,
Could not see your photo, but I second magazinewriter's comment. P. ferreyrae is very easy to root. I root them in well draining soil mix as well as water.
And I do consider it very much a plant that belongs in the cactus and succulent group.

No Tom, sorry, I didn't mean to imply you were at the wrong forum. It's just that from what I know of Peps. they're mostly (the common ones) not succulents, so usually Peps show up at Houseplants. But you could search at either forum.

I think there's also another succulent type form which I've see discussed in one of the two places (P. dolabriformis?). Trying both places would find you something, I'm sure.
