Eremurius

Several years ago I purchased white eremurius & it was so lovely each spring. I've tried other colors, but the white has done best for me & I'm down to just 1 of Romance color. The white had multiplied some & I had been debating dividing them til I read that eremurius doesn't like to be moved or divided. Apparently true because I accidentally dug into one when they were dormant. I immediately replanted the one I dug, it came up the next spring as a very tiny plant. That was 3 years ago. I must have scared the other 2 because since then none of the 3 have bloomed since. Is there something anyone can recommend to help them along?
