Hmm. Maybe it's not 'Baby Blue Eyes' or 'Baby Blueyes'. This from the Missouri Botanical Garden website:

"Plant patent documents list the cultivar name as âÂÂBaby Blueyesâ but the Royal Horticultural Society lists the cultivar name as âÂÂBaby BlueeyesâÂÂ."

You probably have one of the seed grown strain called Baby Blue. See link for more info

Okay,I will go out on a Limb one more time on this forum....
To the best of my knowledge this pungens was found as an extra-blue field grown,god-knows what by one Verl Holden
a respected conifer grower in the Willamette Valley not far from Silverton.He should be easily contacted under the
company name,"Holdens Wholesale".If I'm not as delirious
as some would suspect you might pose this question to the
originator himself.Doug
